There will be a three-town caucus for all registered Democrats in Madison, Tamworth & Freedom. The purpose of the caucus is to talk about local Democratic organizing and elect town coordinators who will help organize our efforts over the next few years. We will discuss whether it makes sense for us to join forces to create a more effective local outreach and communication effort.
Please join us. Representatives Butler and Ticehurst will attend and answer any questions you may have about the current legislative season. Your Democratic neighbors and friends will discuss how we can be more successful in our local efforts.

The Carroll County Democratic Committee will host their 2014 Election Season Kickoff Meeting, on Thursday May 8, 2014 at 5:30 – 9:30 pm, Sunny Villa Restaurant, 1020 Rte. 16, Ossipee, NH. The meeting will commence at 5:30 pm with a presentation and hearing by the State Democratic Party Platform Committee, to provide Carroll County residents a chance to comment on and provide input to the 2014 State Party Platform that will later be presented at the State Convention in June. At 6:30 pm, we will proceed into the County Summit agenda, which presentations on what each elected office entails (designed for the interested candidate), candidate recruitment, basic fundraising, messaging, and general electioneering.
The Carroll County Democratic Committee will host an open forum with Michael Cryans, the Democratic candidate for the District One Executive Council Seat, on Thursday, January 16, 2014, gathering at 6:00 pm, program at 6:30 pm, at the Runnells Hall, Runnells Hall Road (off 16 behind the post office) in the Village of Chocorua, Tamworth, NH. Mike will be discussing his background and experience that he will bring to the position, his priorities in seeking the seat, and what the Executive Council does for New Hampshire. There will be a question and answer session after the presentation. Attendees are invited to and welcome to bring dinner for themselves or to share prior to the presentation. Open sign up was held at McGrath’s Tavern in North Conway, Wednesday evening, December 4, at 6PM. Erik Corbett hosted the Drinking Liberally event at the same time and place, to accommodate those who are interested in signing up for health coverage, and who are interested in some Liberal conversation.
The Carroll County Democratic Committee will host its bi-monthly General Meeting on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Mountain View Nursing Home, 93 Water Village Road, Ossipee, NH. After a general business meeting, we will be hosting a presentation by Mary Morin of the Veteran’s Administration to provide an overview of what the Agency does, an overview of veterans issues/concerns in the state, and an overview of state and federal benefits for veterans and their families. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
