We’ve had both Democratic candidates for Governor at our last 2 monthly meetings and will see more of them over the Summer. Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday April 19th at 6pm at the Sunny Villa restaurant on Rt 16 in Ossipee. The NH Democratic Party Platform Committee will be in attendance to discuss the party platform and listen to input from you about what should be part of the 2016 NH Democratic Platform.
We are also very excited to have a few new faces expressing an interest in running for office in the Fall. We have 15 NH House seats to find candidates to vie for, a NH Senate seat, 2 County Commissioner seats and various other County offices. Typically Democrats do well in Presidential Election years and with the strong Democratic ticket and lackluster Republican candidates this will be a very exciting election season.
Finally, save the date of Sunday June 12th for our 2nd Annual Flag Day Picnic at Dick Stuarts house on the shores of Squam Lake in Sandwich. Last Summers event was a great success with a Presidential candidate, a gubernatorial candidate, both Congressional candidates and countless local candidates all in attendance. We’ll have more information about day as it gets closer.
