Discussion of legislative issues in Tamworth, Monday May 20th

“Yea or Nay:” An informal discussion of how decisions are made in the State House, (and the dilemmas that shape them), with a review of the 2013 session.  Monday, May 20, from 3:30 to 5, at the Lyceum.  Feel free to bring your questions or just your curiosity.

State Convention June 1: The New Hampshire Democratic Party is holding its mid-term convention on Saturday, June 1 at Nashua South High School. You get a break on the registration fee if you register before midnight tonight (May 16th).

June meeting: The next general meeting of Carroll County Democrats will be on Monday, June 24 at 7 p.m. at Runnells Hall, Chocorua to elect officers for the next two years and to review where we are as an organization and in the state legislature.

Deb Fournier of the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute, who was invited to frame the issues for the House Finance Committee, was our presenter. Her presentation was very informative.
